Literature Text

A time to move on

A time of redemption

When we die

We may move on to another life

Up or down we are still around

The spirit of the weak

The spirit of a protector

Watching over all

Though we may not see the death

We feel the death

We honor the death

Someday we will be death

Don’t be afraid because today is not your day

Maybe tonight

Don’t fret for that I may say

She watches you now like a full moon

In a big open night sky

Her stars as mini flash lights

Peaking on the souls of those lost

Death is there

Here

Everywhere

Not bad, but it is sad

A place to go to piece

For all the nail covered paths we have crossed

There is now a strait road of cloud

Take it when the time comes

Don’t look back or be afraid

Ease is here to take you away

Another dark poem I wrote in my free time. Would love some comments on how to improve my poems or new ideas

I enjoyed reading this. I'm new to "DeviantArt", but I think it's important we stay in the loop when reviewing each other's work. Especially when that work is in the form of literature. I had two questions/comments. When you said "Peaking on the souls of those lost" did you mean peeking*? Also, in the line that reads, "A place to go to piece", did you mean peace*? I guess in both cases, either could work, but I was just curious. I think death is a great part of life (yes life) to examine. I like how you left it open-ended since we don't know what's to come, but any way you look at it, death is final. Great work. I'll stay tuned.
