Darkness

Darkness dedcends among us all

Darkness comprehends the minds of despair

Light is no match for the darkness held inside

For tonight we shall realize

Even in the brightes of places

Darkness is there

Incasing us in a lost world of mystery

Darkness has found us

Wonderment of night

Death of life

Loneliness of the timid

All upon a person

Black is the shadows we cast

Even the happiest of people have a dark shadow

The darkness reflects me

We are one

A troubled mind

A dark perception

A color to love

Side by side I wear it proud

For I survided from dying

A proud person I may be

Yet darkness still lives inside me

We learn to live as one

Sometimes it can be quite fun

But when not aware

The darkness takes back over

And I turn to total despair...
